Since 2015 we organize capacity building programs for social innovation and entrepreneurship in Eastern Europe: seminars, accelerators, coaching and exchanges with Germany.
Innovate 4 Change Russia
The program for civil society leaders and innovators from Russia. The programm grew out of the Summer School for Social Innovation 2017 and consists of coaching sessions, an exchange program in Berlin and competitions for micro-grants in Russia.
European Associates: Стажировки в Германии
In 2015-2017, over 60 young professionals from Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia completed 4-8 weeks' internships at entreprises, in media, at schools, in the governmental and non-profit sectors.
Sustainable Development Lab
International educational program aimed at improving skills and developing innovative models to achieve sustainable development goals. Program is open for social entrepreneurs and innovators, experts, coaches and civil activists from Belarus, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine and consists of seminars in the target countries, pitch and discussion events and a 10-months' accelerator.
International Volunteer Exchange
The program is aimed at promoting the values of volunteering, sustainability and fostering the international dialogue between volunteers and representatives of the NGOs from Germany, Russia and the countries of Eastern Partnership. The project was launched in 2018 with two volunteer workcamps at Baikal Lake and in the Carpathians. The participants gained new knowledge about voluntary work in the field of environmental protection, social work and political education. The volunteer network has developed new project ideas that form the basis of International Volunteer Exchange 2019.

Since 2012, we hold public discussions, readings and film screenings about politics, civic engagement and arts in Eastern Europe.
Words in action: ask a 'Living Book'!
If you want to earn trust, the best way is to open up to others, show your face and tell your story. When it comes to the credibility of science and academic disciplines, the same rule applies. Especially today, at the time of fake news and the growing support for right-wing populism.
On October 30, Words in Action - Frage 'Lebendes Buch' took place at the Free University of Berlin, as well as on the Internet on the platformhumanpoint.org. Five researchers from the fields of humanities and social sciences answered questions from students and all interested.
